Mon Avis : Ce roman, j’en entends parler depuis un an maintenant, depuis que l’éditeur Tor en a dévoilé la couverture ainsi que le résumé. Alors, j’avoue, j’ai tout de suite été attiré par l’illustration de couverture, réalisée par Jaime Jones, que je trouve franchement magnifique, mais le résumé ainsi que les différentes informations que j’avais glané autour ont terminé de me convaincre de lire ce roman. En effet une Science-Fiction Space-Opera qui prend comme référence l’empire Byzantin a eu de quoi m’intriguer et me donner clairement envie de voir ce que cela pouvait donner. A noter qu’il s’agit du premier roman de l’autrice qui avait surtout publié des nouvelles.
